The Columbus-Lowndes Public Library is comprised of a headquarters in Columbus with three branches located in Artesia, Caledonia, and Crawford.

Library services include:

County-wide extension service
Electronic state-of-the-art archival facility combined with a local history and genealogy department serving genealogical researchers from every state
